Eurovision 2017: Christer Björkman joins the CORE TEAM!

The EBU has announced that the Swedish Eurovision Midas Mr. Christer Björkman will be joining the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest CORE TEAM! Christer is thrilled to be back in action!

When it comes to Eurovision and Melodifestivalen Christer Bjorkman is the man with the Midas touch! He was the man behind last year’s successful 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm!

About Christer

Christer has extensive knowledge of the Eurovision Song Contest has successfully  produced the Eurovision Song Contest twice in 2013 and 2016, namely in Malmo and Stockholm. He is also the man responsible for transforming Sweden’s national selection, Melodifestivalen, into the biggest television show of the year in Sweden. In Kyiv the man with the golden touch  will be responsible for producing the look and feel of the stage show for each act. We must not forget that  Christer represented Sweden at the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest on home soil in Malmo.

For example, the appointment of Christer Björkman adds to what is already an excellent production team, and his experience producing the Eurovision Song Contest over several years will be invaluable. Now, with many key positions filled, it is important that the EBU and UA:PBC continue to implement the plans already agreed, and work to the timeline and milestones that were established and approved by the Reference Group to ensure a successful Contest in May.

Thus Christer willl be joining Larysa Koval  (Commercial Director), Mr. Oleh Zapadniuk (Head of Security ) and Kyrylo Voronin (Event Manager) all whom have been appointed recently as the new members of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest Organizing Team.
