Tonight Italy will decide who wins the Sanremo Music Festival 2016 and who will represent Italy in Stockholm in May, at the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Night 5, with the Sanremo Final, is here…
The show
The time has come for Italy to proclaim its Campione dei Campioni. The sixteen finalists will compete tonight for the winning position in the Campioni category of the Sanremo Music Festival 2016. The winner will be given the option to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
There will be two rounds of voting. In the first one a top three will emerge that will proceed to the second round, which will decide the winner. The results will be determined by the combination of the televoting, with 40% of the weight, the expert jury, with 30%, and the demoscopic poll, with 30%.
The 15 known acts that qualified in the previous gala and that will compete tonight are the following:

- Lorenzo Fragola – Infinite volte

- Stadio – Un giorno mi dirai
- Valerio Scanu – Finalmente piove
The 16th and final qualifier will be revealed at the beginning of night 5’s show where the results of the repechage round will be revealed.
