Straordinario

Simply known as Chiara, twenty-eight year old Chiara Galiazzo from Padua rose to fame after winning the sixth season of the talent contest X Factor, where she sang such songs as Purple Rain (by Prince), Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Judy Garland) and I Want To Hold Your Hand (The Beatles).

Her debut single, Due respiri, which was co-written by Eros Ramazzotti, topped the Italian singles chart.

Chiara will be making her second Sanremo Festival appearance with Staordinario (Extraordinary).

Her previous appearance came in 2013, when Il futuro che sarà participated in the Big Artists category, finishing in eighth place. 2013 also saw Chiara feature on the Mika single Stardust, which reached number one in Italy.

Chiara will contest the Campioni Category at Sanremo 2015 with Straordinario.

My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan.
