Una finestra tra le stelle
Born in Savona in 1985, Annalisa Scarrone started learning to play the guitar and flute, but was directed to singing tanks to the teachings of Danila Satragno. She has collected some experience on stages in small halls and taking part in different independent projects. At the same time, she got her PhD on Physics with her thesis about the geothermal heat pump.
Her first album was released on 4 March 2011. It was titled Nali, after Annalisa’s nickname.
She has participated in different festivals and has been recognized with awards such as the Premio Videoclip Italianoin November 2012 for the music video of her song Senza riserva.
Annalisa is a returning artist in the Sanremo Festival, as she already took part in the 63rd edition with the songsScintille and Non so ballare.
In 2013 she was chosen as the Italian representative for the OGAE Song Contest 2013 with Alice e il blu, which earned her the third position in the competition.
In December 2013 it was revealed that her song Tutto sommato would be part of the soundtrack of the Dutch filmToscaanse Bruiloft.
Annalisa is one of the participants of the 65th Sanremo Music Festival with Una finestra tra le stelle. The track will be included in her forthcoming album Splende, which will be released on 13 February 2015. The author of the song is F. Silvestre.
