The Special Music Award from GRAZIA Bulgaria acknowledges DARA’s groundbreaking achievements over the past year. Central to this honour is her landmark win at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, where she secured Bulgaria’s first-ever victory with her infectious hit, “Bangaranga.”

DARA’s triumph in Vienna was a defining moment, not only for her burgeoning career but also for Bulgarian music on the international stage. Her victory established her as one of the country’s most prominent artists, bringing immense pride to the nation.

A heartfelt dedication and a powerful message

During her acceptance speech, DARA dedicated the award to her mother, expressing gratitude for her unwavering support throughout her journey. Beyond personal thanks, she used the platform to advocate for women in need.

DARA gave the following statement during her speech after winning the Grazia prize:

Today, we have gathered so many beautiful, powerful women. But there are also women who are vulnerable and in need of our help. That’s why I want to draw special attention to a cause called ‘Not One More.’ Please, let’s not only support and celebrate each other in our strongest moments, but also be there for those who need us when they are at their most vulnerable.

This GRAZIA recognition rounds off a truly breakthrough year for DARA. Following her historic Eurovision win, she has seen significant international streaming growth and an expanding presence beyond Bulgaria. With new music on the horizon and further international ambitions, 2026 marks a pivotal new chapter for the acclaimed artist.
