Grazia Di Michele & Mauro Coruzz (Platinette)

Grazia Di Michele is a 59 year old singer-songwriter from Rome. From the start of her career, Grazia Di Michele has released 14 albums, her most recent being 2012’s Giverny. 2015 wont be the first time Grazia has participated Sanremo as she previously took part in the festival between 1990-1993. Her best result was third in 1993 with Gli amori diversi which she performed along side with Rossana Casale. 

Mauro Coruzz is a drag queen who performs under the name of Platinette. As well as singing, Mauro is also a radio and television host and writer.

From graduating at school, Mauro first work as a grocery boy and a journalist. During the 70’s he was a member of the transvestite band Le Pumitrozzole who were fortunate enough to perform at severeal events and clubs around Italy. He has also released  2 albums during his career with Perle Coltivate being the last one released.

In his bibliography, Mauro has published two books which are 2005’s Pride Compilation con L’Elefante Gay and 2007’s Luca Leoni Amore in chat.

Grazia Di Michele & Mauro Coruzz (Platinette) will compete in this years Sanremo with the song Io sono una finestra.
