Laura Groeseneken (born in 1990) is a young singer songwriter from the city Leuven. Musically, Laura has been working on several projects for a while now. In 2012 she made a big impression at 007 in concert, for the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise, where she sang Tomorrow never dies. Since 2014 Laura sings and plays keys in the Belgian band Ozark Henry. During their first big performance together, at Rock Werchter, Laura stunned the audience with her powerful voice. With Ozark Henry, Laura has played on several big stages, both nationally and internationally.
Laura also plays keys, and writes her own songs. Together with Alex Callier, Laura wrote the song Gravity for the band Hooverphonic. Gravity even became internationally known when the fashion brand Cacharel used it in one of their advertisement campaigns. At the moment, Laura is working on her solo career and writes her own songs under the name Sennek. She also is a vocal coach at the music centre Het Depot in Leuven. At home, music also holds an important place in Laura’s heart: the showpiece of her home are two Rhodes-piano’s. Laura is into Belgian fashion and likes Scandinavian design. As her day job, Laura works as a visual merchandiser for Ikea.
