Tonight at 21:00 local time (20:00 CET), Mei Finegold’s three participating songs in the Israeli national final will be revealed for the first time. Afterwards, the voting will open for a period of almost a week, and the Israeli public will be able to vote for its favorite song. On March 5th at 21:00 local time, the winning song will be announced on a special show on IBA as well.

The songs will be broadcasted tonight on IBA Channel 1 and HD, on IBA’s radio stations and online, along with their videoclips which were recorded during the last weeks. It is the very firt time that the Israeli Eurovision entry will selected via a 100% televoting deliberation.

Moran Mazor, Israel’s last year representative will be a guest on tonight’s show and it will be presented by Ofer Nachshon, who is the Israeli spokeperson for the last few years. Both the presentation and results show are named “Baderech Le’kopenhagen” (On the way to Copenhagen).

The participating songs are:

1. Same Heart (l & m: Rami Talmid)
2. Nish’eret Iti (Staying with me) (l: Loren de Paz, m: Chen Metzger Adar)
3. Be Proud (l & m: Mei Finegold)

Mei will represent Israel in the second semifinal of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, on May 8, hoping to bring Israel to the final for the first time since 2010.
