El Sueño De Morfeo will go to Malmö  with  Contigo hasta el final.  The Spanish 2013 Eurovision entry was chosen tonight during a special televised gala on TVE via a jury/televoting deliberation.

The results:

  1. Contigo hasta el final – 72 points
  2. Atrevete – 60 points
  3. Dame tu voz – 48 points

 

The 2013 Spanish Eurovision Song Selection Show – El Sueño De Morfeo: Destino Eurovision was held tonight at the Sant Cugat TVE Studios in Sant Cugat, Barcelona.

The  gala was  hosted by Carolina Ferre. A total of 3 songs will competed for the golden ticket to Malmö (Contigo hasta el final, Dame tu voz’and Atrévete). The entry was selected via a 50/50 jury – televoting deliberation. The jury was composed of Rosa Lopez (Spain 2002), Jose Maria Iñigo (Spanish ESC commentator 2011, 2012) and the 2013 Italian representative Marco Mengoni. Last year’s Spanish Eurovision representative Pastora Soler also graced the occasion and treated everyone with her Eurovision 2012 entry Quedate conmigo.

El Sueño de Morfeo treated  their fans with special duets with celebrated famous singers during the show: Alex Ubago, Pastora Soler (Spain 2012), Musicalite and Nek.

Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the event twice in 1968 with Massiel and in 1969 withSalome. The Spaniards have been runner up in the contest a total of 4 times in 1971, 1973, 1979 and in 1995.
