Italy: Raphael Gualazzi’ second album due for release on Valentine’s Day

On 14th Feb, Raphael Gualazzi is releasing his second album called Happy Mistake with Don’t Call My Name as the lead single.

Raphael Gualazzi came to fame internationally after representing Italy at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf and reaching an impressive 2nd place. His first album Reality and Fantasy which featured his Eurovision classic Madness Of Love has sold more than 100 000 copies internationally.

Strong of this success, his second album is set for release in Italy but also in France. Camille, a French singer is featured on the song L’Amie d’un Italien, a cabaret song arranged by Vince Mendoza. Raphael Gualazzi describes his new album as a melting pot of different styles such as gospel, pop, swing (…) which as a whole represents him perfectly. Happy Mistake includes 7 songs in English, 5 in Italian and 2 instrumental. The title came from the idea of making mistakes which at the end turns out to have a positive outcome.

Raphael Gualazzi is embarking on a national tour in April and May to promote Happy Mistake which is to be released on 14th February in Italy (already availabe for pre-order) and 2nd April  in France. Don’t call my name is already officially available for download.
