Norwegian vocalist Stine Hole Ulla, who is participating in her country’s Melodi Grand Prix 2016 (the competition which decides Norway’s Eurovision Song Contest entry), has released the official video to her entry Traces.

Created and produced by Even Evensen, directed by Alexander Zwart and featuring talented young figure skater Hilde Aaby, the striking video complements the touching and beautifully sung ballad.

Listen to Traces via Spotify, Tidal and Apple Music.

Stine Hole Ulla, who won top Norwegian talent show Norske Talenter (Norwegian Talents) as a 17-year-old in 2012, can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and has an official website.

Traces is one of ten songs contesting this year’s Melodi Grand Prix, an NRK production, which is to take place on Saturday 27 February at the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo. The winner of the MGP will also secure the right to represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. Norway was last represented at Eurovision by Mørland and Debrah Scarlett who took their powerful duet A monster like me to an eighth placing at the Vienna-hosted contest of 2015.
