The official EuroVillage opened today in Narinkkatori between Kamppi shopping center and the fan center in Lasipalatsi. And with that the weather has changed and Helsinki is enjoying some bright sunshine proudly flying the Eurovision flags everywhere.

In the EuroVillage the official sponsors of the Eurovision song contest 2007 have a chance to do some promotion for themselves. Sonera’s tent houses a Viisustara or Eurovisionstar karaoke. Go ahead and record your own version of one of these songs: Hard rock hallelujah, Tipitii, Hengaillaan or Bye bye baby. If you want to do something else but Eurovision there is also HIM’s Join me in death. You can do solo, duo or trio performances.

The Finnish post office has a shop there as well. Besides selling stamps, postcards and Lordi merchandise you can see the stamps made for the delegations featuring the artists. There is also a Eurovision.tv shop selling the official merchandise.

Nobelcare’s tent houses another karaoke that was packed since it opened. Equal opportunities and Toyota also have their presentation there.

In the center of the EuroVillage there is a stage where most of this year’s artists will be performing in coming days!
