Top of the pops 2, the popular BBC2 programme, goes all Eurovision tonight at 10.40, UK time, with the best and the very worst the contest has presented us with so far.

Steve Wright will be presenting past Eurovision Song contest winners and favourites such as the Abba, Cliff Richard, Bucks Fizz, Katrina & the Waves, Lulu, Sandie Shaw, Mary Hopkin and Clodagh Rogers. Plus Nicole, Johnny Logan, Dana International, Lyndsay De Paul, Brotherhood of Man, Bardo and many, many more, including the UK's high-flying hopes for 2007 – Scooch!

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.
