Polish broadcaster TVP has decided to announce the Polish representative for Kiev in a special Eurovision Song Contest edition of the TV programme Stratosfera, which will be aired on TVP 1 on 29th January at 21:55 CET.

Special guests in the show will be Blue Cafe (Poland 2004), Ich Troje (Poland 2003) and Justyna Steczkowska, who represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1995. Artur Orzech will host the programme.

A jury at TVP will choose the Polish representative for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev within one week. This year the Polish broadcaster decided to use an internal selection again, although the two previous national selections were successful and watched by more than 8 million Poles.

Poland will appear on stage of the Eurovision Song Contest at the semifinal to be held on 19th May.
