Katrina Leskanich, winner of the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest together with the Waves, will not be performing at the Eurovision Song Contest's 50th anniversary show, to be held in Copenhagen on 22nd October 2005. Esctoday.com asked her for a short reaction.

“I am not bothered about not being chosen for the 50th anniversary show,” Katrina Leskanich states in a reaction to esctoday.com. The fans and/or the European Broadcasting Union prefered Cliff Richard and Brotherhood of Man above the United Kingdom's most recent winner. “Congratulations and Save your kisses for me are much more memorable Eurovision songs than Love shine a light.”

Neither will Katrina Leskanish perform at Congratulations as she will be having a show in New York that night. Nevertheless esctoday.com asked Katrina for her all time favourite Eurovision Song Contest entry. “My personal favourite Eurovision song is Ooh aah… just a little bit by Gina G,” Katrina commented.
