Walters & Kazha will be representing Latvia in the semifinal of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest with the song The war is not over. Esctoday.com talked with the two young Latvian singers.

In a tough competition with more established and well-known Latvian artists, Walters & Kazha managed to win the Latvian national Eurovision Song Contest selections Eirodziesma. Valters Frīdenbergs, (Walters) who is only 17 and 18 year old Kārlis Būmeisters (Kazha) know each other since they were just 2 years old and have always been playing music together.

Despite the fact that they are still students at high school, Walters and Kazha have managed to find time for a promotion tour. They have just come home from a trip to Ukraine. Soon they will be visiting other European countries.

Walters & Kazha are also members of the group Putnu Balle (Chicken Run), a project started by Mārtiņ� Freimanis, who also wrote Walters & Kazha's Eurovision entry The war is not over. Mārtiņ� was one of the three singers the group F.L.Y. that represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003.
