As of 20:55 CET, France 3 will be presenting the participants in the French national final to be held tomorrow. Karine Trecy – Laissez-moi rêver (BMG)

The 27 year-old Karine Trecy will be changing the background to be to the fore. For four years she has been backing vocalist for Lââm and she worked together with stars such as Willy Denzey and Axelle Red. Karine Trecy participated in a French national final before. In 1999, the year Naya won with the song Je veux donner ma voix, Karine Trecy finished last with the song Euroland.

Ortal – Chacun pense à soi (Warner)

The 26 year-old Ortal was born in Israel. She doesn't hide her roots and includes them in her music style. Rhythm and pop are the words to be associated with Ortal. After having performed with several groups in piano bars, Ortal is hoping to reach a wider audience by participating in the French national final.

Marjorie Galluccio – Casting (EMI)

Marjorie Galluccio is a 22 year-old singer from Nice. She loves, studied and lives for music, resulting in victories in several contests. Marjorie won her first singing contest in Nice at the age of 12. Today she is hoping to be victorious again in order to represent France at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev.

Christophe Héraut – C'est la vie (BG Productions)

Since giving up his studies to focus on his musical passion, Christophe Héraut has been trying several styles. From rock over the orchestra back to piano bars. In October 2004 he played the role of David in the musical Spartacus. Together with the well known producer Orlando, Christophe Héraut worked on a song bidding for representing France in Kiev.

Lionel Tim – Je m'envole (Universal)

The 27 year-old Lionel Tim is the best known among the five French finalists. Lionel Tim was one of the members of the trio Link Up, that won the third edition of Popstars, organised by French broadcaster M6. At the end of 2003 they topped the French sales list with their first single and sold over 700 000 records.
