Israeli website, Ynet.co.il, reports today about the ongoing preparations of the Israeli broadcaster IBA for January 29th pre-selection show: David D'Or's private Kdam-Eurovision.
This Sunday D'Or will shoot the video clips of the 4 songs he selected to be in the pre-selection. The performance will be recorded as a stage performance in an IBA studio, just like in last year's pre-selection. D'Or will be accompanied on stage by a cello player, a wind player and 2 backing singers.
'We received hundreds of songs. We picked out 4 songs, assisted with professionals and so-called Eurovision experts. Each of the four songs is magical and wonderful in it's own special way. All 4 songs will probably be included in my next album', says D'Or. 'The songs are totaly different from one another. They vary from a kind of Jazz through ballads and Rock. I have my personal preference, but I will not reveal it of course', D'Or adds. The songs composers and writers identities will be kept secret until the pre-selection procedure is over, but it is already known that David D'Or himself wrote at least one of the 4 songs.
The IBA has contacted several possible hosts for the Kdam-Eurovision show, among them is former Eurovision winner, Dana International.
