The group Hi5 refused to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. EuroHellas.tk reported that yesterday. Recently, rumors popped up saying that the group would represent Cyprus is Istanbul.

It's a widely accepted story that Hi5 wants to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest. As the Greek broadcaster ERT decided to organise a talent show to select its 2004 participant, the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC suggested to represent thém. Music label Warner Music denied that CyBC did such a proposal. According to EuroHellas.tk, Cyprus will use the same format to select its Eurovision participant as in 2003: in internal selection.
