Show 7 of Eurovizija 2017, the Lithuanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, has concluded this evening with four further acts qualifying to the next stage of the competition.

Tonight saw a further 8 acts that had already competed in the earlier heats perform their entries live again to both the viewing public and jury, singing for the right to continue and move forward to the next stage of the competition.

The 4-member jury panel, consisting of director Dalia Ibelhauptaitė, opera soloist Nomeda Kazlaus, musicologist Darius Užkuraitis and LRT Opus show host Ramūnas Zilnys, offered their thoughts and critique following each performance and went on to rank each of tonight’s 8 participants.

Show 5 qualifiers

  1. Aistė Pilvelytė – I’m like a wolf
  2. Sasha Song – Never felt like this before
  3. Greta Zazza  – Like I love you
  4. Ieva Zasimauskaitė – You saved me

This evening we wave goodbye to Gytis Ivanauskas, Edgaras Lubys, E.G.O and Gražvydas.

Eurovizija 2017

In total, a maximum of 6 acts will compete in the Grand Final of the national selection on the 11 March, in which the winner will be determined via a 50/50 jury/public vote, also including the vote of an international jury. The final show will not only feature the final 6 contestants from the competition, but also Lithuanian music stars.

Tickets to the final will go on sale on 22 Februrary 2017 and be priced at only 3 euros. The final show will take place in Klaipėda, which is this years Lithuanian city of culture
