About Martina Bárta
Martina Bárta was born in Prague and lives in Berlin. She has been playing the horn since her early childhood and studied jazz at the Academy of Arts in Berlin. She has worked in the musical Robin Hood as Lady Mariana and collaborated with Felix Slováček and Karel Gott. She also with the Czech band J.J.Jazzmen and has created a musical jazz quartet named band 4 to the bar.

Martina Bárta has been chosen internally in February by the Czech broadcaster Česká televize to represent the nation in Kyiv. Her song My Turn was released on 7 March 2017. The theme of the song is the intimacy in a relationship. The fact that the people in the video (of different ethnicities, genders, ages, physical appearances etc.) are wearing very few clothes is to express exactly that.
