Fans of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest can buy tickets for the Dutch selection from August 1st, it has been announced.

Eighteen countries will be represented at the contest on December 8th in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, including Eurovision Song Contest 2007 debutante Georgia, replacing Bosnia and Herzogovina in the line-up after the latter's withdrawal.

Dutch viewers will be hoping to improve on a solid, if not impressive record at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, after a series of mediocre results at the event culminating in a high of seventh place with Tess' Stupid at the 2005 contest.

Visit ticketpoint.nl for more details of purchasing tickets, which cost12,50 Euros each.
