The three remaining acts in Ireland's “You're A Star” series, Jade, The Henry Girls and Donna and Joseph McCaul received their Eurovision songs on Monday and have been rehearsing ever since, ready for the finals to take place over this weekend, the 5th and 6th March.

The final Eurovision songs are:

JadePink Champagne
Written by Ray Traynor. Ray is an independent music producer and writer.

The Henry GirlsDreaming
Written by Fran King (a former ” You're a Star” contestant) and Larry Hogan who has been involved in the musical direction of the show from the start.

Donna and Joseph McCaulLove

The three songs will be performed on Saturday night. At 21.25 , one of the acts will be eliminated. After these results are announced the lines will reopen and remain open until 21.00 on Sunday night. The two remaining acts will appear on Irish chatshow “Tubridy Tonight” on Saturday night where host Ryan
Tubridy will toss the coin live to decide who will sing first on Sunday nights show. The winning act and song will be announced in the 21.25 results show on Sunday night.

There was also an article in The Star newspaper today about the Henry Girls. They describe their song as “'very contemporary and catchy with a big sound nearly like Riverdance”.

Karen from the group says “It's really going to be nerve racking because there isn't really a front runner. The public have really been voting on the whole performance from week to week. So you could top the poll one week and just narrowly miss being voted out the next week like we were at the weekend”

Whoever wins the final on Sunday 6th March will go on to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest semifinal on 19th May in kiev.
