After her failed attempt to enter the Spanish national selection Misión Eurovisión in 2007, Coral is ready to try again in 2008. In an interview with the Spanish site eurosongcontest.net, Coral describes herself as a big fan of Eurovision and reveals that she is already working on two songs created by a well-known team of composers.

Coral has confirmed her interest to entera public selection process should the Spanish public broadcaster,TVE,announce oneto select the country's Eurovision Song Contest entry for Belgrade 2008. The site eurosongcontest.net interviewed her and gathered interesting declarations from the singer.

Coral has stated that she is not only a big fan of Eurovision, but also of the national finals that many countries across Europe hold, such as the Croatian Dora, the Estonian Eurolaul, the Swedish Melodifestivalen as well as the French and Spanish preselections. Coral's knowledge about Eurovision and her musical talent make her have her own opinion about the Contest and what is important to stand a chance to win or to get a good placing: "You have to be brave, have a lot of experience on stage and a great song to compete in Eurovision. We cannot forget that Eurovision is, above all, music, but also it is a contest, and you have to go for the victory. There is not a magic formula to win Eurovision".

Coral shows herself confident about her chances: "I would love to represent Spain in Eurovision. If that day arrives, I would have self-confidence and faith in my song. That faith would go through the TV screen". Coral is already working on two proposals she has received from a well-known team of European composers. She is really thrilled with them and she will try to enter the possible TVE's public preselection in 2008. Eurovision would be a top hit in Coral's career, but if in the end she couldn't reach this aim, she would be glad with "a new CD, with national and international projection".

Regarding Coral's bid for the possible call for songs from TVE, she prefers to remain cautious and just revealed that the two songs are "rhythmic and very powerful, that the whole Europe can understand musically and that can sound in all the countries broadcasting the Contest". However, Coral stated clearly that she would only apply if there was a joint national final for songs and for artists, not like Misión Eurovisión was.
