Elín Sif Halldórsdóttir

Elín is 16 years old and is the youngest participant competing in this years Söngvakeppnin.
At a young age she self taught herself how to play the guitar whilst also having clarinet and piano lessons.
She is mainly a song writer but has been performing songs to an audience in the last year.
As well as music, Elín also performs as a dancer especially in ballet.
Í kvöld was written last summer whilst Elín was on vacation. Originally written in English, Elín had to translate the song in Icelandic for Söngvakeppnin.
Elín favourite Eurovision song is Finland’s 2011 entry Da da dam by Paradise Oskar.
