Stefanía Svavarsdóttir is a singer who first entered the music scene at the age of 16 when she won a national music contest.

Since her contest victory, Stefanía has performed at a number of events and performed alongside many artists including the 1995 Icelandic representative Björgvin Halldórsson.

In 2013, Stefanía participated in the Icelandic national selection Söngvakeppnin alongside the Faroese singer Jógvan Hansen. With their entry Til þín, they qualified to the final of the selection, however the duo failed to get through to the superfinal stage of the contest.

At this year’s Söngvakeppnin selection, Stefanía will perform as a solo artist with her entry Augnablik.

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
