Portugal’s Eurovision 2025 representatives, NAPA, have unveiled their brand new single, ‘Sortudo’. The track was released on June 19, 2026, across all digital platforms, accompanied by an official music video. This new release marks the first single from the Madeiran band’s upcoming third album.

NAPA continue their musical journey

NAPA, who captivated audiences and won Festival da Canção 2025 with their entry ‘Deslocado’ to represent Portugal at Eurovision 2025, are showcasing a different side with ‘Sortudo’. While ‘Deslocado‘ explored themes of displacement and homesickness, their new offering is described as a luminous song about gratitude, belonging, and friendship.

The song incorporates influences from Brazilian music, psychedelic nuances, and the indie-pop identity that has defined the band’s career. Its infectious chorus, “eu sou tão sortudo, tenho amigos pelo mundo, tenho um porto seguro” (I am so lucky, I have friends around the world, I have a safe haven), transforms small gestures of affection into a collective celebration.

Sortudo‘ delves into the kind of luck that extends beyond chance – the fortune of having companions who understand and help navigate uncertain paths. The lyrics beautifully contrast feelings of restlessness with the serene confidence of recognising the ‘luck at my bedside,’ building an emotional narrative where the search for one’s place in the world finds its answer in the bonds we create.

The single was produced by Lucas Nunes, with co-production by André Santos. The recording process for ‘Sortudo’ took place across Portugal, Brazil, and Madrid, Spain. The accompanying music video was directed by João Morgado.
