Tonight, the Andorran national final for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest will he held. The three songs presented over the last three weeks will compete to become Andorra's sixth entry in the competition.

The show

The show starts at 21:35 CET and it will be hosted by Meri Picart at the Apolo Andorra Hall. The three songs will be performed and the winner will be chosen by televoting (50%) and an expert jury (50%).

Andorra is one of only two countries (the other being Estonia) that managed to be eliminated in the semi final stages of the Eurovision Song Contest every year since 2004, when the new format was introduced. In 2008, Gisela finished 16th out of 18 in the first semi final with the song Casanova.
