Tom Boxer , Anca Parghel and Fly Project band started the preperations for the national selection of Romania for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. They will try to get the ticket for Belgrade with the song 'Brasil', in Brazilian.

The video clip of the song will be shot in Brazil in January. The three artists realised that such a collaboration will be unique in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest.Tom Boxer and Anca Parghel releasedtheir first single this yearwhichbecame an instanthit. Coincidence or not, their first single was also sung in the Brazilian language. The band Fly Project is quite famousin Romania.Songs such as'Raisa' and 'Hey' have delighted the Romanian people for 2 years now.

Ruslana , the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 , expressed interest in joining the competion as a interval act performer.

The national selection of Romania consists on two semi finals (9th february and 16th february)which will take place on the two Saturday nights before the final (23rd fabruary).
