For the 21st time since 1997, the Barbara Dex Award, crowned its winner for Eurovision 2017! The Belgian website songfestival.be had the voting process active since last Sunday until today at 12:00 am CET.
Slavko gets rewarded!
This famous across Eurofans award goes every year to the worst dressed artist of the Eurovision Song Contest, one week after the live shows. It took its name after the first winner, the Belgian 1993 participant, Barbara Dex, after wearing a dress designed by herself and received lots of bad critique.
After the end of the voting, the website announced that the 2017 winner is Slavko Kalezić from Montenegro! Despite he didn’t qualify for the Grand Final, the eccentric performer surely didn’t go unnoticed during the First Semi-Final. His quite long tangle combined with his see-through T-shirt, his blue skirt-like cloth and his shiny trousers were strong factors to be the most voted participation for this prize!
Here you can check out his performance in the First Semi-Final:
The Top 3 is completed by two more non-qualifiers of the First Semi-Final. In the 2nd place, we can find the group Triana Park from Latvia and Martina Bárta from Czech Republic comes 3rd. You may take a look at their appearances here:
