The Blurry Lane

Exceptional

The Blurry Lane is a group of six young musicians, three girls and three boys: lead vocalist Kristi Raias (18), backing vocalist and pianist Kristina Bianca Rantala (15, she will turn 16 before the ESC 2015 in Vienna), drummer Triinu Ruuspõld (19), bass guitarist Steven-Martin Suur (16), guitarist Maksim Rjiurikov (18) and saxophonist Taavi Poll (20).

The group is one of the newest bands in Estonia, formed by Kristina Bianca Rantala, who invited her musical friends to form a band with her. She is also the author of the song Exceptional, with which the band will compete in Eesti Laul 2015.

The groups name, The Blurry Lane, refers to the fact that the young musicians are on their path through life’s journey, and although the right way is blurry, they are confident in achieving their goals.

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
