Tuesday 13 January 2015 is a big day in the calendar for Marco Mengoni and his many fans! It is the day that the superstar Italian singer-songwriter, who represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contest of 2013, releases his brand new album.
Entitled Parole in circolo (which translates as Words in circle), the highly anticipated release comes two years after his previous album #prontoacorrere, which was certified triple platinum in Italy for sales exceeding 180,000 units.
Parole in circolo, which immediately topped pre-order charts, is described as the first chapter of an innovative new two chapter project.
Talking to lifestyleblog.it, Marco says:
This is a first playlist, a “Volume One”.. these new songs collect the sounds and words of my life so far. I continue to live and write.. This is why I asked my record company to move forward, and to not close this phase of study, because this is a project that is constantly evolving..
