Dana International, the Israeli representative in 2011 and also winner of the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1998 with the entry Diva, has released a new song for the 2014 Tel Aviv Gay Pride which will take place on the 13th of June.

Dana International is set to be the main performer in the Tel Aviv Gay Pride where she will also have a chance to perform her new song, penned especially for the event. The song is called Yeladim Ze Simcha (Translation: Children Are Joy) and the video was shot in a sinagoge in Israel. This is Dana’s first appearance in the gay parade in Tel Aviv after 6 years of absence. Dana International brought revolution in 1998 when she won Eurovision for all the gay people in Israel and is considered a gay icon there. She is coming back to the gay parade with another important message: children are joy, no matter the race, colour, gender or sexual orientation everyone has the right to bring up children and start a family.
