Finalist of Melodifestivalen, Ace Wilder, has released the official video of her entry Busy Doin’ Nothin’, just a day before she performs in the grand final of Sweden’s Eurovision Song Contest national final.
Ace made the final of Melodifestivalen 2014 after finishing in the top two in the third heat last month, qualifying along with Oscar Zia, and she will close the final with her song on Saturday.
Busy doin’ nothin’ currently sits third on the Swedish iTunes chart, the highest ranking of any of the songs competing in Melodifestivalen this year, and goes into the final as the second favourite behind Sanna Nielsen. You can see the video for her song below,
On Saturday she will be competing against nine other songs to win Melodifestivalen 2014 and the right to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
Last year, Robin Stjernberg won Melodifestivalen and went on to finish in 14th place in the grand final with his entry You. Sweden have won the Eurovision Song Contest on five occasions, making them the joint second most successful country in the competition.
Their previous winners include Abba, Charlotte Nilsson, Carola, Herreys and, most recently, Loreen in 2012.
What do you think of Ace Wilder’s video for Busy doin’ nothin’, and would you like to see the song represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014?
