Tonight, the first semi- final of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2013 took place with the first 5 acts performing for 3 places in the final.

The first 3 finalists known are:

The second and third semi-final will take place tomorrow, Saturday 8 March and on Sunday 9 March respectively.
