So now Carola and Anna Vissi had taken the wind machine to new heights of innovation at the 2006 contest the floodgates opened to one and all. Evridiki came back to represent Cyprus in 2007 with the song Comme ci comme ça. She took to the stage with an electro monster of a song which was criminally underrated in Helsinki that year. She chose to unleash the beast halfway through her song. With wind in hair and heart she stood proud like a menacing Aphrodite on crack. We applaud and salute this Eurovision stalwart for daring to be different.
