Swedish pop sensation Benjamin Ingrosso is set to release his highly anticipated new album, ‘baby don’t say that, I’m sensitive’, on March 19, 2027, via EMI Nordic. Alongside this exciting announcement, he has unveiled four brand-new tracks, available for fans to enjoy today.

New Album and Four Fresh Tracks Unveiled

Benjamin Ingrosso‘s latest offering, ‘baby don’t say that, I’m sensitive‘, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2027. This marks his fourth full-length album since his 2018 debut, ‘Identification’. The album news comes with the immediate release of four new songs: “mommy’s boy”, “nice to meet ya”, “deep diver”, and “cliché”. These tracks, combined with September’s double single “funny feeling” and “waste my time”, comprise the first six songs from the upcoming 13-track record.

The new material signals a fresh creative direction for Ingrosso. While his previous album, ‘Pink Velvet Theatre‘ (released in autumn 2024), drew inspiration from icons like the Bee Gees, Queen, and Elton John, his latest work leans into ’80s new wave and the alternative pop and indie sounds of the turn of the millennium. The four newly released songs adopt a more band-led approach with a strong emphasis on groove, building on the foundation set by the September singles.

The album boasts impressive production from Jonathan Rado (known for his work with Miley Cyrus and The Killers) and Kane Ritchotte (sombr, Phoebe Bridgers). The roster of featured musicians includes two highly respected figures in American music: bassist Pino Palladino (Elton John, John Mayer, The Who) and keyboardist Greg Phillinganes (Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin).

Lyrically, Ingrosso continues his journey of self-exploration. On the focus track “mommy’s boy”, he uses self-deprecating humour to confess and examine his less flattering traits, acknowledging a gap between his confident outward persona and underlying low self-esteem. Other tracks delve into complex emotions: “nice to meet ya” explores the conflict of moving on from a past relationship, “deep diver” offers a literal deep dive into emotions, and “cliché” ponders alternate outcomes in a relationship.
