Hera Björk and Chiara Siracusa, the two major Eurovision divas, have joined forces in a cover of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 and had released a new EP under the name of Two Divas.

According to Hera Björk, the two singers have talked about a duet for a couple a years but was until now when they had the chance to work together. Earlier this year Valgeir Magnusson, Icelandic producer at Hands Up Music, approached both singers and suggested to record 9 to 5 as a duet with a modern sound.

When we first met and started talking, we realized we were both big fans of each other as a singer. And now when it finally happened everything worked out so perfectly, says Chiara about the collaboration. Both singers performed the song live in Munich last week and received a positive feedback from the audience.

Neither Chiara nor Hera are strangers to the contest, both singers share the stage for the very first time in Moscow when the Maltese diva represented her country with the ballad What if we and Hera was backing singer of Yohanna.

Chiara has represented the Mediterranean island in three opportunities and has met great success every time: 3rd in 1998, 2nd in 2005 and manage to bring back Malta to the final in 2009.

On the other hand, Hera represented Iceland in 2010 qualifying to the final, came 2nd on the Danish Final the year before with Someday and went to win the 2013 Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile.
