Marco Mengoni, the 2013 Italian representative is flying high these days. The boy with the golden touch won a total of 2 Awards at the very first edition of the MTV Italy Awards in Florence last Saturday.
The event was held at Piazzale di Michelangelo in Firenze ( Florence) and Marco Mengoni won the Air Action Vigosol Superman Award and the Best Saga Award.
The 1st edition of the MTV Italy Awards was hosted by: Virginia Raffelle, Omar Fantini and Usbaldo Pantini. Many Italian stars will be graced the occasion and took the stage in Florence last Saturday : Chiara, Emma, Fedez, Club Dogo, Que Pequeno, Gianna Nannini, Max Pessali, Malaki Ayane.
Marco was nomninated in 3 different categories: Superman, Best Fan and Artist Saga. The show was televised live on MTV Italy.

Marco is among Italy’s most sought after artists today, enjoying fame, name and recognition on home soil. He won the 2013 Sanremo Song Festival last February and has been on a tight schedule touring Italy. The Italian artist has a full schedule until next October: he has a massive line up of concerts scheduled in the forthcoming months as part of his pan Italian tour.
