Turkish Eurovision winner Sertab Erener is to perform in London.

The singer will take to the stage of London’s Hammersmith Apollo this coming 30 June in a concert promoted through the London School of Arts.

Sertab is one of Turkey’s biggest stars. She had released five albums before winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga. Her winning song, Everyway that I can, charted in many countries across Europe in the wake of the competition, notably in Greece and Sweden where it hit the number one spot.

Since 2003, Sertab has continued to make and release music with success around the continent. Her most recent album, Sade, contains many songs the artist has written and produced herself.

Her performance at the Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday 30 June will start at 7.30pm.

The London School of Arts is the city’s largest arts enterprise and provides training for students to participate in national and international festivals and concerts.
