The 2025 Ukrainian hopefuls, Ziferblat, have released the Eurovision version of their ESC 2025 entry ‘Bird of Pray’.

Ukraine and Ziferflat are preparing for Eurovision 2025 from strength to strength. The Ukainian band has released the revamped Eurovision version of their Eurovision entry today.

Sound producer Anton Chilibi, who previously worked on the Eurovision entries “Teresa & Maria” by alyona alyona & Jerry Heil and the winning “Stefania” by Kalush Orchestra, has played a key role in the new version of the 2025 Ukrainian Eurovision entry.

Ziferblat describe the changes made after winning the National Selection as a “cosmetic overhaul”. The vocal parts in the chorus have been lightened, while a more orchestral sound has been introduced, giving the song a cinematic feel. Additionally, the mysterious pauses at the beginning now enhance intrigue, drawing the listener in.

Ziferblat say:

We deliberately sought out someone with experience in creating songs specifically for Eurovision. This cosmetic overhaul allowed us to integrate elements that we hope will resonate with the Eurovision fan community. We added orchestral parts in the choruses, giving “Bird of Pray” an epic scale, and introduced pauses at the beginning of the track to create intrigue without revealing the full essence of the composition in the first few seconds.

Ziferblat have kicked off their rehearsals for Basel and working round the clock to shocase an extraordinary performance come May.
