Following his initial audition at the British singing competition, Slavko Kalezić and his journey in The X Factor UK continued this evening with this Bootcamp performance. Did the Montenegrin singer do enough to proceed to the Six-Chair Challenge?

The X Factor UK heated up this evening as we saw the second stage of Bootcamp at the competition. Eurovision’s Slavko Kalezić, who represented Montenegro at this year’s European contest, returned following his fierce first audition at the Tobacco Dock in London, with the hope of qualifying to the next stage of the competition: the Six-Chair Challenge.

Kalezić brings the energy to bootcamp

After promising “something totally unexpected” earlier today via social media, Kalezić took to the stage at The SSE Arena in Wembley, London in tonight’s show, performing to the 4 X Factor judges (Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh) and looking to move forward to the next stage of the contest.

Kalezić performed his interpretation of the song Where have you been by Rihanna, receiving a positive response from the audience as well as the majority of the judges. The performer brought so much energy to the arena that he even lost his infamous braid mid-performance! Check out the Montenegrin singer’s bootcamp performance.

A deliberation took place between the judging panel, with Scherzinger being Kalezić’s biggest supporter! Comments included “That was his best performance and he’s an entertainer” by Scherzinger, followed by “I think he’s nuts” by Cowell.

However, it’s good news for Kalezić fans as we will see the grand performer once again in the Six-Chair Challenge of the competition, after receiving a not-so-unanimous “yes” vote from the judges.

The Six-Chair Challenge in The X Factor UK kicks off tomorrow evening and continue into next weekend. Soon we will know whether the Montenegrin performer has qualified to the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition.
