Denmark’s Eurovision 2026 participant, Søren Torpegaard Lund, has launched his latest single, ‘Festen Stopper Aldrig‘. Released on 3rd July 2026, the track follows his successful journey at the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year.
Søren captivated audiences at Eurovision 2026 with his entry, ‘Før vi går hjem‘, after winning Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026. He achieved an impressive 7th place in the Grand Final and was honoured with the prestigious Marcel Bezençon Composer Award, solidifying his position as a notable talent.
‘Festen Stopper Aldrig‘ is an energetic dance-pop record, brimming with optimism and joy, maintaining the authentic and engaging style Søren is known for. The song features a modern, Scandinavian pop sound with electronic elements and strong, catchy melodies.
Søren co-wrote the new single with Clara Sofie Fabricius, Thomas Meilstrup, and Valdemar Littauer Bendixen, the same talented team behind his Eurovision anthem, ‘Før vi går hjem‘. This release also signifies the beginning of a new collaboration for Søren with Little Yellow House, Universal Germany, and Universal Nordics, aiming to bring his music to an even wider international audience.
