Demy kept her promise and now the Greek (and not only) audience is waiting for her very first live performance of her entry to the Eurovision Song Contest, This is love. The 25 year old Greek singer is going to appear on the stage of the talent show Rising Star on Sunday 2 April in ANT1 TV station.
The background
One week before the Greek national final, in which 3 songs by Demy were presented through their music videos shot in Odessa, she had performed with the cast of the musical Mamma Mia!, where she is starring.
The presenter Yorgos Liagkas had asked her if Rising Star could be the first show where she will present live the selected song. It was a promise that she kept because it has since been announced that it will come true!
Just 3 days before, Demy performed her entry in the catwalk show of MADWalk, organized by the Greek music channel MAD, but it was not a live show. It is predicted that something completely different will feature in the upcoming Eurovision performance.

This year marks the 39th Greek Eurovision appearance since 1974, when it debuted. The country will perform in the second half of the first semi-final on 9 May. The 62nd Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
