Yesterday evening, the 2017 Greek representative Demy performed in the Greek version of the reality show Rising Star together with the cast of the musical Mamma Mia!. The Greek singer is starring in that musical along with the superstar Despina Vandi, who is a jury member in the show.

After their performance, the presenter of the show Giorgos Liagkas admitted to Demy that he has been impressed after listening to the 3 candidate songs.

In addition, he asked her if Rising Star could be the show in which she will perform this year’s Greek entry for the first time, after the national final of 6 March. She accepted the invitation with pleasure and now we’re waiting to see if she will keep her promise!

Greek National Final: “Vote for the song”

Furthermore, the trailer for the national final has been released from the Greek broadcaster ERT, where Demy with the hosts Antonis Loudaros and Elena Bouzala invite the audience to “Vote for the song”!

Greece has been drawn to compete in the 2nd half of the 1st semi-final on 9 May. The Greek national final is going to take place on 6 March at 21:00 CET at the ERT studios.
