As the day of 6 March approaches for the Greek National Final to take place, Demy travelled to Odessa to shoot the video clips for the 3 candidate songs. The videos will be presented during the National Final night and one of them will fly with her to Kyiv in May.

Filming the 3 video clips

The Dream Team of Demy (composer Dimitris Kontopoulos and choreographer Fokas Evaggelinos) flew for three days to the Ukrainian city of Odessa to shoot the three music videos that will be presented to the Greek audience on 6 March.

The Greek Dream Team chose that city in order to highlight its Greek elements, since there is a big Greek community in Odessa, and to build bridges of friendship between Greece and this year’s host country.

Demy had there a special meeting with the Mayor of Odessa, Mr Hennadiy Trukhanov. During the conversation with the Mayor, Demy stated:

It’s an honour for us to shoot the video clips here in Odessa and we are very happy and thankful that everything went well, as expected.

Yiannis Papadakos, the director of those 3 video clips has been sharing on his personal Instagram account various images of the shootings.

Now, the Greek fans are waiting to listen to the 3 candidate songs and decide for their representation in Kyiv. The Greek National Final will be aired by ERT1, ERTHD and ERTWorld on 6 March at 21:00 CET. The results will be determined from 100% tele-voting from both Greeks of the country and Greeks of diaspora.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the presenters of the Greek National Final will be Greek actor Antonis Loudaros and the journalist of ERT Elena Bouzala.
