Greece: National Final set on 6 March

The 2017 Greek national final has been scheduled to be held at the ERT Studios in Athens on Monday 6 March. The Greek audience will be invited to select Demy’s entry for Kyiv out of 3 potential entries.

Currently both the 2017 Greek Eurovision representative Demy and her Dream Team (Dimitris Kontopoulos and Fokas Evangelinos) are busy recording the 3 candidate entries for Eurovision in the studio.

The 2017 Greeek national final is se to be held on 6 March, when Greece will determine Demy’s entry for Kyiv. A total of 3 songs will be showcased during the special tv show, where the Greek audience and diaspora will be responsible to select the 2017 Greek entry. More information regarding the Greek national final is expected to be released in due course.

Both the Greek national broadcaster ERT and Demy’s Eurovision Dream Team are working round the clock in order to showcase an extraordinary performance in Kyiv.

Demy was selected by ERT via an internal selection in order to represent Greece at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. The Eurovision Greek Dream Team consisting of Dimitris Kontopoulos and Fokas Evangelinos will be responsible for the 2017 Greek Eurovision project.

Dimitris Kontopoulous is the man behind Demy’s entry whilst internationally acclaimed Fokas Evangelinos will be responsible for Demy’s staging and choreography in Kyiv.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv.
