Poli Genova, the most successful Bulgarian Eurovision participant, has collaborated with Vladimir “Grafa” Ampov on a new single.

The video for their single Sluhove (Rumours) was uploaded earlier today.

Grafa is a Bulgarian singer who wrote their entry to this year’s Junior Eurovision song contest, Magical day. It finished in ninth place with 161 points.

Poli Genova represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision song contest in 2011 with Na inat, but did not make the final. She returned in 2016 with If love was a crime and finished in fourth place with 307 points – Bulgaria’s best result to date.

Poli also hosted the Junior Eurovision song contest in 2015, and was part of the interval act in 2016. She has now been announced as one of the judges on the upcoming series of The Voice Bulgaria.


Eleanor (or Ellie), is 26 years old, is from Exeter in the UK. She combines motherhood with studying linguistics. Ellie was first allowed to stay up and watch the Eurovision Song Contest aged 5 in 1999, but really fell in love with it after the Athens 2006 contest. Big key changes and dramatic stage shows are an absolute must! Ellie has also written an A* academic dissertation on the cultural history of Eurovision.
