Malta’s 2016 Eurovision Song Contest representative Ira Losco appeared at a televised charity event in the Czech Republic last weekend (Saturday 16 April).

Founded in 1998, Pomozte dětem is a charity in aid of vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the Czech Republic.

Broadcast live from the La Fabrika theatre in Prague at 21:30 CET, the event saw Ira come together with a selection of Czech celebrities for a night of fun and fundraising. Watch her performance below!

Ira is an ardent supporter of various causes in Malta, such as LGBTQ Rights and animal welfare awareness.

Ira Losco will perform Walk on water at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.  A top five favourite (at the time of writing) with Europe’s bookmakers. Walk on water marks Ira’s return to the Contest, following her second placing at the Tallinn-hosted Contest of 2002 with her entry Seventh wonder.

Ira will contest semi-final one on Tuesday 10 May from a starting position of 18th.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 takes place at the Globen Arena in Stockholm on 10, 12 and 14 May.
