This evening, we return to Latvia where the second heat of the nation’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Supernova 2016 takes place.

A further 10 acts will compete in tonight’s heat where they will perform their bidding entries for a place in next week’s semi-final. Out of tonight’s 10 acts, 4 will qualify to the next stage of the competition; 2 acts will be selected via a public televote whilst the remaining 2 will be chosen by a jury panel. Supernova 2016 is hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Toms Grēviņš.
